Pretty decent looking boost gauge but it took more effort than I expected to install. You do have to wire in to 12V for the light, and the boost just comes off the turbo. I have a WRX and used a T connector on the tubing going to the bypass valve, which is also fairly close to the driver's side. I wasn't able to use the included tubing, it's very cheap and kept leaking. Fortunately, the tubing is not expensive and available at any decent auto parts store. I also got better clamps, I didn't like the ones provided. To be fair, I wasn't able to use the manual boost controller. I have a COBB electronic boost controller on my car and it's all tuned and I didn't want to mess with that at all. The manual boost controller included is very cheap but it could work. You need to be very careful just turning up the boost without tuning the air to fuel ratio because you can run lean and cause serious engine damage if you don't know what you are doing. I'd avoid it if possible. Most turbo vehicles already have a manual or electronic boost controller anyway. This is a good price for a boost gauge and it looks ok once it's finally installed and working. The gauge comes with an enclosure you can mount on your dash, or you can use an A pillar pod made for a 2 inch gauge. The LED colors are cool and you can select from 7 different ones to match your interior lighting. I like that feature, and I like either the green or yellow-green for my car, which is over 20 year old now which is why I don't mind putting cheap boost gauge in it. Overall, it's fine. It's not leaking at all which was my main concern. It took some extra work to install from what I expected but it wasn't that big of a deal. The gauge shows vacuum and boost and seems to be relatively accurate. I already have a digital boost gauge with my Accessport, but I wanted something more analog that I could just glance at. My car only makes about 19 psi boost max but the gauge goes to about 30psi so it's easy to see if I ever over boost somehow. This goes without saying but if your vehicle does not have forced induction, the gauge is going to only show vacuum, and when you give it gas it will go to 0. I assume anyone buying this would know that but just in case, the boost controller and gauge do not provide any sort of turbo boost to your car, it only regulates and displays it for you. ... show more
