The size is correct but it's not the right kind that I needed. I needed both ends of the lap band to be two and a half inches. 1/2 of this lap band is about two and three quarter inches so that you can use those slip-on pipes or joints from advance Auto parts.

Converted Single Exhaust system on 2010 Grand Marquis LS Ultimate Edition to Dual Exhausts. These are the 2 inch pipe version. No need for welding ... just turn two bolts on each side. So far so good, no rattles and no leaks. The stainless steel sheetmetal could be a little heavier gauge (thicker).

    • Stepped clamps don't work
I don't understand how anyone gets these stepped clamps to work. The band is stepped, but the block that goes between them is not. Lines up ok for the smaller of the two pipes, but then it's misaligned for the larger one so that the bolts won't go through. Even if they could go through, without being stepped, I doubt it would seal properly. ... show more
