I wondered many of times if the helmet was adequate. Today I met a really stupid dog that cause me to fly about fifteen feet from the bike. The dog ran off I laid in the road . Helmet has a Crack but did its job .I will definitely be getting another one

    • Wind noise as expected for price. Visor adjustment needs one more setting.

So far I've liked the helmet. Fit is good. Wind noise is tolerable but in line with the price point. Added a Cardo easily with internal accommodations for comms. The visor could use an additional position setting. Lowest setting is way more than needed when I just want to crack it open for the morning fog but don't want all the frigid air in my face. There is a rough seam (likely from heat finishing the fabric edge to keep it from fraying) on the top liner. So if you have a bald head, wear a beanie or you will be driven nuts. Chin strap needs a better way to secure the loose end. I tuck it inside but can work its way loose. Pinlock visor offering would be nice. ... show more

When I first started riding I spent bank on a Shoei. It was a good helmet, and still is, but wanted an updated flip modular. I ordered a M and questioned if s would be better, but then realized the value of space for beanie. It makes a bit of noise, but not enough to be concerned about. Looks great easy to put on and take off because of the quick snap chin strap love the face part that lifts up makes it easy when at the drive through at the bank since some banks won't do anything for you until they can see your face

it's a good helmet for the winter, the extra thickness helps to keep my head warm while riding. Here's the pros and cons I found Pro: thick helmet, feels safe and has good insulation modular, can pop open the face shield so people can look at your face has a built-in sun shield tho it's not polarized. removable inner lining that can be washed. Cons: -heavy helmet, my neck gets sore after a long ride. -the sun shield has a small nose cut out which is unnecessary because it's not close to the face, but it's annoying on a bright day because there's a source of bright light coming into your eye. -thick helmet, feels ridiculous like wearing the helmet from Spaceballs -gets foggy when not moving even if the vents are open ... show more
