This soap base exceeded my expectations! It melted in the microwave in just a minute which made the process quick and easy. It was easy to work with creating very little mess, just be careful when pouring the hot melted soap because it does get very hot! I was able to create 14 small soaps out of the 2 lb bar (see photo) and they all turned out beautifully. The soap base is scent free so I added my own scents along with some dried lavender. The creamy opaque soap made them look very professional. It is very moisturizing and has a soft gentle feel on the skin. I like gentle soaps and this was perfect. I will definitely be purchasing this soap base again. It was exactly what I needed and was so easy to use.

Was only 14oz a pound is 16oz. This was my first time making soap. I was trying to make breast milk soap. It came out very bubbly. Not sure if it was user error or this soap.

I found this White Glycerin Soap Base from EDSRDRUS very easy to use. My only complaint is that the melting directions are not on the label. I had to go bake to the item description for melting directions – please just put them on the label. The block is pre-scored so all you need to do is chop it in blocks and melt it in the microwave. It pours well. It is easy to add color, essential oils and other ingredients. The pour soap hardens quickly. Mine popped right out of the mold. It is a nice hydrating soap with coconut oil. I thought it lathered well. Fun for DIY soap making craft with teens. The block is 1 pound.
