However, because my hair is shorter, I could easily cut it to work in my hair and get rid of the crease. These are cute but donโt stay in well. The clip attached is basically useless, you have to use a hair tie to make them stay in.

I really liked the quality of these. They are folded in half, so there is a crease, but I have short hair, so I need to cut them anyhow. They are adhered quite securely on the clip, and so all the tinsel stays on well even though I pulled on it several times to get it on and off my hair. HERE IS HOW TO USE THE CLIP: It is a tension clip. It is a concave (inward curve). To release it, press on both sides of the clip and the curve/tines will go from concave (inward) to convex (outward). In other words, bend it the opposite way of the inward curve. It will create some space between the tines and the little foam piece.

just carelessly packaged so they are damaged. Fine for a 4 year old ...who cares only about sparkle. Fine maybe for someone with short hair if you can use them at half length because damage is in the middle where they are folded in half and on ends where they are not carefully put in to the cellophane. I can't believe this is an Amazon recommendation. Easy enough fix if they did as others and rolled them...don't fold! sending back, price is great but not if they are unusable.
