I made a reorder of the tape in replacement tapes to become very disappointed. The replacement tapes would not stick to the extension let alone hold the together to secure the extension in place. It was such a waste of time to apply the replacement tapes for them not to work. I don't have the ability to go to a local hair store to purchase the replacement tapes. ... show more

I had ordered from the same listing a while back (over a year ago) and don't remember being this bad. These were horrible. I am SO glad I did not do a complete re-install on myself with these , because I re-installed a single row on a client/friend and they all slipped out within the week. Not only that, but I could feel how bad they were as soon as I started applying them (but had no others at the time). They rip apart... Which these should not do. I have been doing extensions for 16 years... These were absolute trash. ... show more

I have bought these for tape ins for years. As a hairstylist, I thought they were amazing. The last two packs I received were awful. Did not stick at all. I am extremely disappointed. I won’t be buying again.

I never ever write reviews but this product was sooo bad that I had to come & write an review. This tape isn’t sticky at all, as soon as you apply it instantly slides right off. The ones that had a little attachment, they were slipping out as soon as I stepped outside. Imagine going to a business meeting & your extension just randomly fall off at the table or when you run your fingers through your hair & the extensions comes with it so embarrassing. I am a seasoned professional Hair and Makeup Artist… I have tried out several different extensions and hair brands from clip ins to tape ins to wigs, halos, etc… I HAVE always looked for the best rated based on how many people have taken time to review a product. And sometimes have found that the under rated cheaper lines/products/ outweighed their high ranking competitors… Folks, ladies, don’t be fooled by the number of reviews a product has… I have purchased things from Amazon that have had under 100 reviews that have turned out to be AMAZING in quality and price…I have also purchased the same items except they had thousands of “good” reviews and were quite a bit more expensive that have turned out to be duds. Wastes of money. So I have found that the number of reviews and quality of reviews doesn’t tell you much unless there is a definite consensus of everyone saying “Yes this product is great!” Or “No don’t buy this!”… 10,000 mixed reviews isn’t very helpful… even if 4,000 of them are positive. Just be careful. Look for pictures of the products. Videos. Those will speak louder than the words of thousands of other people. Just as the picture I have posted will do. I don’t even have to write a review about this tape to get my point across, all I really need to do to show whether I think this is a good brand or not, is to post the picture of my experience. Granted we all have different types of hair, but for products like this, they should work no matter hair type. I can tell you right now a couple of things this tape ISNT or DOESNT do… They aren’t waterproof. 1st time I went to wash my hair and about 60% of them came out in the shower. 2nd. I had issues with even trying to get the tape to adhere to the weft. Which should have been my first clue as to how well this tape didn’t hold. 3rd, what the tape will adhere to is YOUR HAIR but it doesn’t bond with itself if you are using the sandwich method. After about a day or two of wear, the wefts disconnected from the tape and fell out leaving the tape stuck to my natural hair. I ended up cutting out about 4 different places out of my hair that had matted up from this happening in just a matter of 2 days of wear. I don’t know that there is a strong holding tape being sold on Amazon. You may have different luck with these but I even used flat iron on them to hopefully secure the bond. Be cautious and do a few test places at the bottom of your scalp/hairline and wear them for a couple days and wash them once in the shower before you commit to installing them everywhere with this tape. The adhesions did not stick well with the kinky hair. I had to re-stick my extensions several times because the adhesions didn’t last long. I wouldn’t use them on kinky hair.
