No experience with different bands and very little with slingshots in general but I was looking for a .4mm band to shoot .17 ammo (general purpose bb ammo for airguns) and these were as close as I could find through Amazon. Maybe it might be different with every band but my trouble with the first band is accuracy. The times I can get the band from hitting the arms, I'm shooting in every direction. Yes, even straight down while aiming forward. I might have been better off buying 1mm bands again. EDIT: The pouch is not built for smaller ammo. Tends to get stuck in the center hole where you would pinch and hold. That explains the weird trajectories I was getting. Patched the hole and worked fine. ... show more

    • Great bands for 3/8 steel
I shoot 3/8 steel and 00 buck lead and these bands are the perfect size for the ammo. No band slap and the right amount of draw weight that gives you a fast shot but not effect accuracy. Will definitely buy again.

The product works so far without breakage, but it’s not .75mm, it’s more like .60mm. I’ve been shooting for years and know the difference. Please re-evaluate your title description! Thank you!

    • A lot of big rubber bands.
This is a decent deal for the amount of bands you get. The pouches are extremely small and the bands are not what I'd consider to be powerful. On the plus side...there's 16 of them so you can double or triple them up and have a reasonable amount of power. You'll have to make your own pouches unless you want to shoot really small ammo. These would be prefect for making children's slingshots. And there's enough of them to make a few sets and have plenty left over to throw in a bug out pack and they'd serve many functions there. All in all they are not a bad deal if you don't mind making your own band sets or are looking to make a bunch of bands for your child's slingshot. ... show more

These are smaller than they look in pic and the patch is only big enough to shoot small balls around 5mm or a pinto bean size ammo
