I wasnt sure about buying the kids fort kit. I thought it might be too childish for a 7 year old, but it was on her Christmas list so I got them and am very glad I did. The whole family was playing with these and building different forts for hours. Mine dont glow in the dark as described but to be fair I havent exposed them to the outside light as the directions ask you to do because its the middle of winter. The blanket doesnt cover the entire fort but its still worth the purchase. All age groups will love this and the shipping was very fast.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my niece and nephew. My daughter and niece used it to make a large structure the same day and had a great time. They are ages 9 and 7. There is a learning curve to this. Sometimes it’s hard to line the holes up right. It works better if you line up the hole that points up facing up and so kids may need help from adults initially to learn to line the holes right. I think it’s great at teaching the mechanics of making a structure. The blanket it came with was pretty large but we still needed an additional blanket to cover the fort they built. But my kids love making forts and we’re always using chairs and blanket before and this is great since you can make it anywhere and I can sit in my chairs again. It’s not the most sturdy and you have to be sure to put the pegs in tight enough. But the kids are able to make so many different structures. There are instructions but they also like to design their own. We have our own set that is half this size but I got the bigger set for this gift. With the smaller set we are always running out of pieces. Overall, a great gift for the creative kid who enjoys building things. It was fun to turn the light off and see it glow too.

I bought this for my 3 grandchildren aged 6, 5 and 3 for Christmas. They loved playing with it and making different shaped forts. Kept them busy for hours. I would like to be able to buy extra pieces.

Hours of fun for the kids. They used to take all sorts of things from the house to build forts (which is it's own kind of fun until clean up), but this is a great way to get kids to work their brains around building, STEM, figuring out angles, and being creative in construction. The pieces are sometimes hard to fit and take apart, but most were pretty easy (or should be if your kids are older than 6). Kids love that it is glow in the dark, and that it comes with a blanket to hide out. It's nice that for something so big after you build, you can break it down for storage in a very compact way. Wish it came with a storage bag, but easy enough to figure that out some other way. Overall, durable and a great STEM toy, especially your kid likes to build.

The media could not be loaded. I got this as a Christmass Present for my children. I was getting frustrated with everything in the house being used to make a fort, so when I saw this being advertised I got very excited. It comes in a great little carrying case box to store all of the rods, joints and glow in the dark cover blanket. My son and I like to go outside and make different styles of forts to connect with other outside furniture and the trees. It makes a wonderful outdoor picnic shelter! I have left it up for several days at a time with no issue with it falling over and the assembly remains intact. A great buy for adventurous children and parents alike.

The media could not be loaded. My kids really like building and playing in this fort! However, I do wish that it was a little sturdier. The poles tend to bend. It is fairly easy to assemble. The hardest part of assembly is lining up the right holes for the poles to go into and pushing them in. Some of the holes are hard to push the poles into. Overall, my kids are enjoying it.
