This particular foam insulation was more stretchy compared to other brands which made it easier to wrap around the bumps on the car door. The texture and feel of this foam is more neoprene and less like a camping/yoga mat. The backing is sticky enough to adhere to the door's surface but you cant heat it up a little bit to get the glue to be more sticky if you need. For this to work as a "sound deadener", make sure to also use some sort of butyl rubber as the first layer. This foam alone won't help with the vibrations caused by the wind on the door panels, it just absorbs some of the sound waves.

Just a little messy, but, very much worth it. Soundproofing my jeep floors, up to the firewall, underneath the seats, wheel Wells, this works just fine and definitely makes enough of a difference

Great soundproofing material for keyboard customization. Cheap and the adhesive seems pretty good. Did a great job of making my keyboard more "thocky", if that is the sound you are looking for.

I really believe this stuff made a difference. I used this for inside of the door panels on my Hyundai Elantra. It is easy to cut and sticks easily to surfaces. It makes the door sound much more solid when you close it and I believe it has reduced some road noise while I drive.
