I bought this going in with the knowledge that the fabric was not quilt quality or even big box quality by how low the price was. I was not surprised. They are exactly what I thought they’d be. Before I bought them I thought I could make baby bib patchwork out of them or similar, knowing that whatever I made was either going to have a short-term use or something that was rarely touched. However, once I had them in my hand, I could tell bibs and the like were not a likely reality. Very thin. There is nothing wrong with thin material if one is creative. My thought is, “eh, I can make bibs et al., but I’d have to use fusible interfacing to extend the fabric’s life, but the additional expense of the interfacing would negate why I bought the low cost fabric in the first place. However, I CAN use them (with fusibles) as appliqués, appliqués that are only for cute frills and not for the underlying structural fabric itself. So win/win? I think so. Bottom line, yes, it is 100% cotton, but more for projects that do not require them to be used or touched often. You CAN quilt with them, but for baby doll quilts or clothes and such. I’m giving it five stars because nothing about this product is misleading if a little common sense and critical thinking are applied, meaning “scary low price for 100% cotton = not quality quilt fabric”.

I purchased this item to practice as it's been...decades, lol, since I owned a sewing machine. I would consider the cloth a "summer" cotton. All pieces are evenly cut and the same size. Each stack is the same, providing three of each pattern, as indicated by the first picture. I will be attempting to make a pillow case in a quilt style. Edit…the pictures are reversed meaning my comment about the first picture actually refers to the second picture, lol.

This material was very very thin. It would not work if you wanted to do any real crafting. It is not good for masks. It is not good for quilts. There were quite a lot of pieces included and a few repeats of each pattern of fabric which was nice. It was a good price but very cheap material. The patterns and colors were very bright and lovely and colorfast when washed. Lots of shrinkage though.

This fabric is very thin. I bought it for a button sewing project with my students but the fabric separates and opens right up once a needle goes through it. I tried bigger knots at the end of my thread but it’s impossible.
