  • Loud as a train horn
Size: 6L Color: Black
It's easy to install if you know 12 volt DC stuff . But you must have experience in auto repair.. it has been used every day in my plumbing truck . It's loud as a train horn . And I'm sure that 12 volt compressor will last a while .

  • Worked a dozen times, then quit. Customer service is nonexistent.

So… it’s loud. Yep. That’s good. And the drivers in my town are terrible, so that’s a good thing. Buuuuuuut…. The tank leaks like the titanic post iceberg and that means the compressor runs a lot. Every few minutes it runs for almost a minute. My original plan was to mount it behind my back seat, yeah… short hose meant that wasn’t going to happen, but that’s for the best anyway. It’s so loud that if it were in my trucks cab… I’d have gone nuts in 10 minutes. The compressor is stupid loud. Edit: I have also found that any temps below 40 cause it to either not function at all, or to get stuck blasting until you get out and pull the fuse. Definitely warm weather only type of thing. In my area needing a loud horn is a year round thing. OK, Update 3/30/2022.... The compressor failed this morning while my truck was remote started. It actually started burning and caught fire. YEAH.... That was crazy. I walked out to the cab of my truck smelling like electrical fire after the thing burned itself out of the housing. NICE QUALITY!!! ... show more

The sounds is off the charts LOUD!!!! way....way LOUDER than i expected... heart stopping almost. very easy install for wiring.. i purchased a different switch as the one that comes with it is too plain. Highly suggest if you want to scare people and get attention... this is the horn you want ... show more

  • Air solenoid went bad almost immediately.

Had a professional shop install it and the air solenoid went bad almost immediately.

  • Not a good start to a new kit.
Size: 6L Color: Blue
Got the product lastnight. Today I was trying to install it. The Air solenoid on the horns to activate the horns does not work. I had to take a small wrench and smack the solenoid multiple times for it to actually work. But after you don’t use it for a while and try to activate the solenoid again it got stuck did activate the horns. Also to pump up the tank from 0 to 100 psi where the tank pressure shuts off at the pump gets extremely hot. I’m wondering if this is why people complained of pump failure! Also noticed after it pumps up to its pressure that it leaks down pretty quick. I sprayed Windex on all the joints and found that many of the fittings leak air Teflon tape or factory sealant. So tomorrow I will remove every single fitting from the compressor tank and everything. I will use a hydraulic thread tape sealant hopefully that will stop the leaks. It would be nice that the tank can hold pressure for more than maybe 30 min. Otherwise if I can’t stop the leagues this thing is going to run that pump to death. I have a replacement kit coming to replace the horn and solenoid! May even test the compressor and pump and see if it holds pressure better in longer. Also I find it dumb that the majority of people to mount this in their vehicle underneath the chassis will have to mount the compressor tank upside down where the compressor would be facing the concrete. That means your drain plug to remove moisture in water created by the heat by the pump is on the wrong side of the tank it would be facing up. That being said if its place upwards and your pump is down you’re going to get water in the tank from pump heat. the water in the tank can run back to the pump through the pressure hose possibly causing the piston to seize from water and moisture being in the pump. I will update further down the road to see how long this last or if there was an issue with the replacement kit. 6/8/22 update So after getting a Ptfe thread sealant from lowes and doing all the fittings the system now holds air for a long time. The other night I went in the house the tank had 88 - 90 psi in it and 12 hours later it was still in the 60s. Before it would run out of air in about 30-45 min. This kits dose not come with a 30A 4 pin relay to activate the air Solenoid on the air horns when you hit the horn button. I found without a relay just using the power from the horn button when the compressor was around a 100psi it didn’t have enough current to kick the solenoid. So horn would not work. If it was around say 80 psi or below in the tank it would have no issues and work fine. Once I added a relay to active the solenoid it has been working perfect the last 2 days. 6/26/22 update So the solenoid is back not working at 100 Psi even after adding the relay. It worked for sometime but now back to not working or with a really long delay. It will work sometimes if you hold the horn button but could take up to 20 sec or more to activate with a steady press. Its like the solenoid is sticking. The relay is working correct. I ordered a whole new style solenoid I’ll install this week to see if it fixes the issue. ... show more

  • Low quality parts
Size: 6L Color: Black
The tank did not come with a drain valve as pictured, it had a plug that was put in with red lock tight so it did not come out without being destroyed and having to use a blow torch on it. The leader hose from the compressor doesn't have a check valve in it so it leaks down, the pressure guage lens fell off first time I ran the compressor so I had to replace that which was also out in with an excessive amount of red located. The tank it's self seems ok and the horns sound good for the money just expect to need to buy extra parts to replace the defective stuff I guess. ... show more

  • compressor is junk
Size: 6L Color: Black
Two out of two kits were junk. First one showed up missing mounting hardware and pressure switch. Amazon shipped a replacement as soon as I contacted them. When it came in I finished my installation using the first one. The compressor would not build over 50 psi. I removed that compressor and installed the compressor from the second kit it built up to 90 PSI barely quickly but immediately dropped the pressure back down. I plumbed the tank into my shop compressor and aired it up. It would hold 120 PSI no problem. I installed a gauge deadheaded onto the compressor and it could not build more than 10 psi. They are being returned for a refund. ... show more
