The panels are nicely put together and the wood is a nice color tone. However, they are pieced together and do not appear as they do in their listing. Totally different then what is pictured in the listing example.

It took a.while to get this project done. I uses these as closet doors in the house. They are very well built. I would get the pre primed ones if you are going to paint them. The wood oils bleed though. It took 6 coats of stain blocker primer to stop the bleeding. If you are going to stain them you would be fine. Summer 2024, we restored our vintage New England Cape Cod home. The original wooden shutters needed to be replaced, we did not want to replace with vinyl. After reading the reviews. we decided to order a set of these mango wood shutters to see if they would work. The set arrived and the quality of this set was great. The shutters had a good weight to them, the black stain was great, and we decided to order the remaining six sets needed. After several attempts back and forth, we finally received all the correct sets in the black. All were received in great condition - I will add one side was always better than the other. We re-used our original hardware. Our house looked BEAUTIFUL, and we were so pleased. Fast forward March 2025, we did a walk around the house and noticed that the paint on the at least 10 of the 14 shutters had blistered and, was peeling, and the set on the front door had cracked. We had an extremely mild winter - with only 2 or 3 snow falls in southern New England. I cannot imagine what they would have looked like under normal weather conditions. On March 6, I reached out to Amazon Customer service to see if there was any kind of warranty. To date I have had no response. On April 1, I reached out directly to the manufacturer, Ekena Millwork, which also to date I have not received a response. I purposely purchased the shutters thru Amazon because of the ease of doing business. We will now have to remove all the shutters so they can be repainted and repaired. Very disappointed in this product and would advise to think twice about purchasing. ... show more

Out of the six purchased only two were received in great condition. They others had minimal imperfections and cracks that were easily repaired by wood filler.

Perfect buy. Didn't realize it was 2 that comes with the order. I used oil base primer then top coat with emerald urethane exterior paint. Worked fine. Sanded the wood and in between coats
