Impressed with this flooring! We tested it out first since we won't permanently lay it for a few weeks now, but I love how it looks. Shiny and seamless and a lovely color. Once we got the hang of the click- lock installation method it was a breeze to lay out a wide area to get a feel of what the final product will be like. I think the ones who liked it the most however were my cats, who both took one step on this flooring and immediately loafed, so they can vouch that this flooring is comfortable and warm. I think the only downside is the price. This comes out to a little more than $3 per square foot, while similar ones I've found are around $2. However, I think the value for money is something that cannot be easily determined for flooring, as it really comes down to how well they hold up over time. I cannot remark on the durability or supposed scratch resistance for example, but perhaps in a few months time I will feel this flooring is in fact worth the money. Either way, I am saving money anyway as this flooring doesn't even need underlayment, which is definitely a plus!

This click-lock flooring (ivory ash) is easy to install, decent quality, and super aesthetically pleasing. The instruction card that came with the floor is probably the best set of instructions I’ve seen for flooring. I’ve used this kind of flooring before once years ago and struggled because the instructions I had at the time were terrible and I couldn’t find good instructions online either (plus who wants to keep looking at their phone or have to print directions for flooring). So having the detailed instructions with both words and pictures was incredibly helpful (especially since it’s on a separate card rather than the box or easily torn paper). I will say that inspecting each piece of flooring is important as it appears it isn’t super precisely cut in some areas (as in there’s a tiny bit of extra material hanging on). But the extra material will come off pretty easily. I used some of mine for the top of my bunk bed. I have two strips of boards by the head/foot of the bed along with one running down the middle (it’s a king sized bed and I have the mattress on the bottom, but this set up lets me grab stuff from the top or even climb up or jump down without using the ladder) which are now covered with this flooring. It looks incredible! I love it because the color combined with my royal purple sheets on the bottom and the sides (as curtains) make it look like I’m in a castle. Plus the flooring appears to be decently durable and there’s no gaps or weirdness with it, making it look even more regal. Whether looking to put down new flooring or do a project that I suppose is still putting down flooring like what I did, this click-lock flooring is a great choice.

These vinyl planks check several of the boxes shoppers look for: the protective layer feels durable, the texture has a realistic wood‑grain feel, and the surface is anti‑slip without looking overly matte. They arrive fully sealed, and I noticed no odor at all when opening the box — which is a relief, especially for indoor projects. The eco‑friendly angle is also a plus. They’re formaldehyde‑free, low‑VOC, and certified by SGS, so from a safety standpoint, they’re a solid choice for homes, basements, or high‑traffic areas the things buyers need to know before committing: 1. The mil thickness is not listed. For flooring, that’s important. It helps you compare durability and match existing planks. The texture feels similar to other WPC flooring I’ve used, but without the mil info, you’re guessing. 2. There is no attached underlayment. This is the biggest catch. My previous flooring project used planks with a built‑in underlayment layer. These do not have one, which means you’ll need to buy a separate barrier before installation. That adds cost, time, and planning — something DIYers on a budget should factor in. 3. The click‑lock system seems straightforward. I’ve laid the planks out to acclimate (I usually give it a day or two), and the edges look like they’ll lock in cleanly. For a small room or transition space, the color blends well and doesn’t interrupt the flow from my existing landing. 4. Good quality, but not great value. The planks themselves look nice and feel sturdy, but the missing underlayment and lack of mil information keep this from being a standout deal. --- Bottom line: Durable, no odor, eco‑friendly, and visually consistent — but be prepared for the added cost of underlayment and the uncertainty of not knowing the mil thickness. Good, but not great, especially if you’re trying to keep project expenses down.
