For the size I purchased, you cannot beat the price for four total! Our old shutters were black when we purchased the house, and I painted them white a few years later. They held up pretty good for almost 25 years after that, but it was definitely time for new ones. I did look in local home-improvement stores, but none of them had the exact size and what they did have was super expensive! Finally wizened up and looked here on Amazon and lo and behold! They had the exact size I needed! And the price was amazing. So happy when they arrived and found how beautiful and sturdy they were and installation was easy! These are exactly as described. They are light weight, louvers are stationary, and comes with a wood grain pattern. They are very easy to install. Took 15 minutes for one window. The PVC anchors provided dont look like they will do the job but they do. Recommend NOT pounding them in with a hammer like you would with a regular nail. Gentle taps work best. Requires careful measuring to get screw holes in right place which is easy to do. Hanging is a two man job simply because one needs to hold the shutter while the other drills starter holes and inserts screws. Did not use the plastic anchors that came with the shutters. Preferred using long screws to solidly anchor into the house siding. ... show more
