These are great! My ears are sensitive and get irritated if I’m not wearing real gold. So, I bought these because they were exactly what I was looking for, I wanted small hoops that I could wear 24/7. I’ve had these in since the day they arrived and I love them! I don’t even notice that I’m wearing them. They are a bit hard to put in, you have to twist them quite a bit, so pull up a chair and sit in front of a vanity mirror and be patient. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! It literally is saving my new ear piercing! I went to a professional place and got my 2nd ear piercing and they said their earring was 14k gold plated…… well after a few days my ears got so swollen and puffy that it was trying to push that earring out, it turns out I’m allergic to earrings unless they’re 100% gold. Not JUST gold plated. So I did the one thing I wasn’t supposed to do…. I took out those gold plated earrings bought these bad boys instead and had my husband shove them in my swollen ear piercing…… One full month later and my ears still haven’t had an issues with these! AMAZING!!! (Now I know my photo my ears still look irritated and swollen, and that’s because they are, but they were WAY worse before I put in these earrings and every day they are sloooowllllllyyyy getting better! Also I got hoop earrings on purpose because my ears were so swollen I needed something with no backing so it gave my earlobes room to swell) Yes it was a little hard to put in and to slide the little wire into the other side of the earring, but once it’s in you never have to worry about them falling out! I have had these earrings since July 1st, 2020. A year and six months later, I’m buying the same ones as a replacement. I have pretty serious allergies to nickel and other low-quality metals, and I’m incredibly partial to gold over silver. I don’t like gold-plated jewelry because it disappears quickly, and I’m far too lazy to take earrings out before I shower every day. These earrings have been in my ears every day for the last year-and-a-half. They’ve held up great. They’re small enough that they don’t get in my way. They’ve kept their color pretty well. The only reason I’m buying new ones is because the gold tone has faded on them a bit, and I’m adding a few piercings to my collection so I’d like to have a backstock. They are delicate, but since they are so small they don’t get damaged frequently. If you wear a helmet with a chin strap, I could see them getting bent out of place. Okay you get what you pay for… nice for the price not made well very thin tiny made my ear turn red so I’m doing a gold test on them. Otherwise if you’re looking for a small tiny hoop you wear maybe 10-15 x this should work- if they don’t break.

I got my cartilage pierced 9 months ago and was having trouble with the surgical steel captured ball hoop. No matter what I did, the piercing kept flaring up, getting angry and painful. I had luck with titanium before but while perusing hoop earrings I noticed these. I've got a nickel sensitivity so I can't wear silver and I have trouble with some grades of surgical steel. I gave these a chance and so far, 4 weeks in, I haven't had any of the issues I've previously had with other earrings. Important note!! The size 10mm are VERY small. If you're trying to insert these into your cartilage, you might to have trouble unless you're unusually dexterous. They do not have hinged posts. Rather then damage or harm my piercing (already angry from the previous ring), I took them to my piercer who easily popped it in. I was so pleased I bought two 14mm sets (these were larger and easier to insert!) for my 2nd and 3rd ear lob piercings and haven't had any issues (see pic). ... show more
