Great quality, I have worn it twice with no tarnishing or breaking of the clasp. I do not shower or swim with it though because I want to keep it in good condition. I didn't realize how long it would be, but none the less still a great staple piece!

    • Lovely but Very Fine and Delicate 14K Gold Chain
This chain is not magnetic, and I'm fairly certain it is an authentic 14K gold chain, and it's beautiful! This is a box chain style, one I have always liked more than any other. The 16 inch length is shorter than what I am used to wearing, but I knew beforehand how it would look based on the descriptive picture presented on the promo page. The chain itself, at .6 mm, is very delicate and could easily get tangled if one isn't careful in the handling or storing of it. It probably wouldn't hold a large or heavy pendant, but a small lightweight one would be suitable. The clasp feels strong and secure, and if I were to inadvertently lose this necklace, it would be due to the chain breaking rather than the clasp opening. If I were to give this chain as a gift, I would want to make sure the recipient is a responsible person who recognizes the delicacy of it, and not a young girl who is just starting out wearing jewelry. I love how consistent and smooth the necklace is. The clasp seems decent. It's a 16 inch chain, so closer to the neck. The necklace came in a small ziploc inside a gift box. I don't like the gift box, but am not really rating it. I will mention the issues. When I opened the plastic wrap, the box already has lint on it. Then, when I open the box, it falls backwards, as the top is heavier so the bottom won't stay down on a surface. Along with that, it has a metal clip intended to hold the necklace. That would bend and ruin pure gold like this. So, for me, the box isn't anything I'd use presentation wise to store the necklace in, or for gifting it in, honestly.
