It is overpriced and if you don't read the description correctly you will not catch the fact that this is hollow gold, meaning that there's nothing inside of it. Way too much money for a hollow gold necklace, lightweight and feels cheap and as though it could break very easily.

I was very taken back by the quality of this 14 karat yellow gold rope chain necklace. When I received the package and opened it up the first thing I noticed was it's in a larger package with a very soft pillow inside that the necklace is kind of draped over. I wasn't quite sure if it was actually yellow gold or not white gold because it gives off a bit of a shimmer that makes it appear as if it's white gold or even silver. But, after a very close inspection and looking at it I can see that it really is a good high-quality 14k yellow gold. The thickness of it is just the perfect thickness, it's not very cumbersome or intrusive when wearing. The length overall is just perfect for me as a man who is wearing it. I did put my charm on it that I had and got this necklace for her, and they complement each other perfectly. Especially since the charm is white gold, and this necklace somewhat shimmers as if it is white gold. Thinking about the cost of gold and the durability of this as well as the quality of its manufacturing I would say this is an excellent value for money.
