This is exactly as described and pictured. I LOVE the lobster clasp. I got one of the plainer ones, but it's still more interesting than the standard. There are also some very interesting versions available with characters, etc. The clasp and hang tag are both stamped Au585, which stands for 14k (14k is 58.5% pure gold), and it has excellent color.

This is crazy pricey for how small it is, but I guess that's how the cost of gold now. It's smaller than a dime in total size. In fact, I attached an image of it sitting on a Nickel for size reference. Outside of it's size, it works as an extender though and looks shiny. I don't think it's big enough to be noticed, but as an extender I assume the point of it is not to be looked at.

This necklace extender has been a lifesaver! It allows me to wear necklaces that I had stopped wearing due to weight gain and a thicker neck. Now, my expensive pendants can dangle gracefully once again. The extender is beautifully crafted, and the quality is excellent. As the necklace moves, the extender becomes visible, but it's not overly noticeable. My niece even admired it and wanted one for herself! She chose the panda one, which is so adorable that it wouldn't need any additional pendants, if it was longer.
