I love gold I only wear gold... I like it. It didn't tarnish and I'm super sensitive so it didn't give me any reaction. It's obviously good material. I just think I would prefer plastic. Seen too many tooth chips from metal balls... It looks like the picture, is the right size, fits good, and all this was definitely worth $9. Looks great, just has slightly yellow tint to it. I’ve had a 16mm tongue barbell for years and was looking for something shorter, the 14mm and 12mm are just what I needed. Stainless steel is great quality (just like my old piece) and I really like it was several pieces and ball replacements for a small price. I did have some trouble getting the 5mm balls out of the 14mm barbell, had to use some pliers because I wanted to use the 6mm so maybe please don’t scree them too hard 😅 Other than that I’m so happy with my purchase and feel more comfortable with a shorter barbell! ... show more

I ordered these in black and loved them especially because they came with extra balls that were bigger and I liked the drama of them so I purchased a second set expecting the same product but in silver. It was not. The extra balls are the same standard size which was disappointing since that was the primary appeal. THEN I had to breakout the to box just to get the balls off to put it in! I could not get the balls off of any of them without tools. So… is it a standard barbell and use as intended yes. Would I pay another company more money to not have to experience getting the ball of again absolutely ... show more
