I do balloon arches for my kiddos birthdays every year—so I’ve done quite a few in my lifetime (much to my husband’s chagrin). One thing we noticed about this set right away is that the balloon quality is by far better than some of the other sets we’ve had. I agree with the other poster about the small balloons. Stretch those puppies out before you try inflating them. We only had ONE balloon break. Those odds are almost unheard of! It happened to be one of the heart-shaped balloons because I was trying to put enough air in it so it would actually be heart-shaped. So, don’t overinflate those, FYI. The only caveat to the set was that mine did not include a straw for blowing up the Mylar balloons. I do not know if this was intentional or by accident. I had a paper straw from a separate Mylar I purchased that I tried to use, but you can only blow through a paper straw so many times before it becomes…limp. All I had were twisty straws. Let me tell you, the air has to go through a lot of twists and turns to make it through a twisty straw. Also, if you intend to hang the Mylar balloons instead of attaching to the arch (ours always get hung from the ceiling), the lipstick and the kiss balloons do not have a hole on them anywhere to tie a string through. Sweet 16-was a hit. This set was absolutely gorgeous. Colors were vibrant, bright and exactly as described. Everything was in the kit. After reading reviews, people mentioned that you needed to buy 2 sets because it wasn’t enough to fill up the arch but 1 set is more than enough.
