I only just used one of these bobbins and it worked perfectly! I have a Brother SE400 which will wind its own bobbins but there is so much more thread on one of the pre-wounds than my machine is capable of winding itself! My embroidery came out crisp and tight. I will be buying again! EDIT - I've been using these bobbins exclusively since I got the box in April and I am still completely thrilled with them. I have used a good chunk of them and not one has ever broken while sewing. Some of them have been wound in such a way that makes it a bit hard to start unwinding for the initial threading through the bobbin case, but none of them have been unusable. My embroidery consistently comes out as clean and smooth as it ever did using more expensive bobbin thread. ... show more

These pre-wound bobbins have been so helpful to me. I am just starting out embroidering on my new to me embroidery machine. So while I am still learning my machine I do not have to worry about having to wind bobbins all the time. I just grab one of these and pop it into the bobbin case and I am ready to go. These are also a time saver, it takes a lot of time to wind up bobbins ahead of time and this is one less thing I have to worry about. The thread appears to be of good quality and I have not had any issues with these so far. With such a big box I am set for quite a while and I now have more time to make fun projects for myself and for gifts. ... show more

I can't say how grateful I am that I got these! I purchased a Brother SE400 Embroidery machine recently and have been putting it though its paces for more than a week now and I could not have done it without these bobbins. They make embroidery so much easier. When one runs out all I have to do is load another one without having to worry about stopping my work to refill the empty. Having them has saved me so much time. The thread is quality and strong. I have had no problems with them snagging or snapping unexpectedly and they work like a wonder with my machine. This was the best deal ever! These bobbins work perfectly with my Brother PE770, and are so convenient. They are also far less expensive than buying the thread and filling my own bobbins. Reviews that have said they couldn't get the thread started should try running your thumb firmly back and forth around the bobbin, over the thread. Turn the bobbin over and repeat. The loose end should pop out. I have had some jamming problems when the bobbin gets low, but easily resolved by sticking in a new bobbin. I just finished a huge project, and still have many bobbins left. They will last me quite a while, but I wouldn't hesitate to order these again. ... show more

Having the prewound bobbins is such a time saver. The thread is a medium quality. I having had any breakage on it and it works fine. I have used five of the bobbins so far and they have all worked well. I would buy these again.
