The saw seems to be ok for the price. So much that the price has went down like a week after I purchased it. I was told I need to return it to get the lower cost. I am disappointed about that and it also did not perform as good as I thought. Will I order again for the lower price? Probably not, I think I might move onto a different saw to see if it can function a little better. We used this to cut the end off of a hard wood cane after one of our other saws wouldn't hardly make a mark on it. True the older saw was a bit on the dull side, but even so, this saw cut quickly and evenly. It did not angle off. I left a fine cut that needed very little light sanding
