I've replaced the batteries on several phones for family members over the years, and the issue I have with other aftermarket batteries is that they appear to work fine, but then will go from 50% to 5% in an instant. Around Thanksgiving 2024, with a bunch of family over, I ordered 3 batteries all from XYIRMCYF. One for a 7 Plus, 6S and 12 Pro. Each of them originally came with batteries that are under 3,000 mAh from the factory, so I figured the claims of 9000+ on these batteries was an exaggeration. I Ordered one of these to replace the battery in my S8. After installing found it had a 55% charge on it so I connected it to my charger. After nearly 30 minutes on the charger, it had not only not charged but had discharged. Thinking it was a "fluke" and probably just a defective battery, I returned it and had Amazon send me another as a replacement. When I got the "new" one, installed it and ended up with the same results. Batteries would not charge, and would not hold the charge they had. This is neither a phone nor a charger issue as I purchased another(different brand/company) battery and it worked as it should have. Killing the headphone jack on phones is dumb. I don’t like Bluetooth head phones and will not use them. That being said I had to save my old iPhone, it’s obsolete and the library of compatible applications available on the App Store are dwindling but the phone is still very capable. It has Bluetooth, and Apple carplay and still functions as music player and “pda” . The battery arrived nicely packaged with all tools and seals for replacing the old one. I installed it to an older iPhone 8 I had to use it with an international SIM card. No issues with that and the phone works fine with the new battery but the capacity is not 13500 ma/h as advertised. That would make it over 4 times the capacity of the original phone but I can see that the charge will unlikely make it for a full day with not particularly heavy usage. ... show more
