Installed this in my 2008 EZGO golf cart in less than 15 minutes. Looks sharp and clean compared to the original gauge which was just an orange color with fewer steps in the gauge.     • No more getting stranded
The little light on my golf cart was broken for a long time, so - at one time - I got stranded. So, I often put it on the charger even if not quite necessary. Now with the new meter, I have better insight into what the battery status actually is without guessing. I have not tried to run out of juice, so I can't report on that yet. ... show more

The Battery Monitor Meter was a lifesaver for my Sea-Doo jet skis - easy to install, waterproof design, and compatibility with various battery types ensured I never get stranded again, providing accurate voltage readings and peace of mind for my aquatic adventures. The JDIAG BATTERY MONITOR METER arrived in a timely manner, in a small cardboard box. The package includes the multi voltage monitor unit, mounting screws and crimp terminals. Extensive printed instructions are included as is customary with complex, specialized electronic hardware. The item is as described online. The device is a subminiature special purpose voltmeter with a bright, simplified, easy to read display. It is meant to be mounted with screws in a rectangular panel cut-out of 1.48 by 0.98-inches and requires about two inches of space behind the panel. This helpful accessory is useful wherever 12V lead-acid deep-cycle batteries are used. This is an excellent choice for electrical systems where 1 to 6 deep cycle batteries are used in series. This includes some boats, golf-carts, wheelchairs, scooters, RVs and off-grid cabins. I am going to use this device to replace a conventional moving needle voltmeter with a 16-volt full scale. On the conventional meter, the entire useful discharge range of the battery is an unmarked region about 1/8-inch wide. In order to have some idea about the state of charge, I have to get within a foot of the meter, remember the discharge range and estimate the charge remaining. This Battery Monitor displays the useful voltage range as a 10 segment bar graph. The display is ultra-bright and easily readable at a distance of 30 feet. The top 8 segments are green indicating a minor risk of running out of battery power. At 20% remaining, a yellow and a red segment are displayed. At 10%, only the red remains. We live off grid and rely on our solar setup for our power needs. There is a 5kw battery bank that has a fluctuating state of charge depending on solar input and power drains we put on the battery bank. As it is, we have to manually read the state of charge before we run heavy draw devices like our washing machine. Now with this power monitor mounted in a easily read location we can see at a glance the power remaining in our battery bank. Based on the reading we can choose to turn off the refrigerator and freezers before using a heavy power drain. The unit is not large and is deeper than expected. Length of front plate is about two inches and depth of unit is a bit over an inch or so. It comes with a small bag of mounting bolts with nuts as well as female spade connectors to attach wires to the male connectors on the back. Once mounted it gives a "gas gauge" type reading that any family member can understand. It can be adjusted for most system voltages. This is a great economical aid to monitoring our system status.     • Works well for our needs
We got this to help monitor the batteries we use with our solar panel while camping. It is bright and it was easy to put together. Instructions were clear and it was easy to understand the programming of it so that we knew which type of battery we needed to set it for. We were able to put connectors on the ends so that we can just hook up our batteries when we need to check how much charge we still have left and it is working amazingly.     • Super Handy to Monitor Batteries that are Multi-use
In my van-camping setup, I have an auxiliary 12 volt automotive battery in a battery box. I was able to easily mount this through a cut-out in the battery box and now can keep easy tabs on the battery's condition. It comes with all the pieces shown, as well as a helpful wiring diagram showing how to wire with and without a switch. The LEDs are bright and easy to read. ... show more
