    • Great Length, But Lacks Sturdiness for Tough Jobs
This 12-inch Large Chicken Poop Scooper is a decent tool, but it's important to understand its limitations. The length is perfect—it saves your back and makes reaching across the run much easier. The two widths of sifting slots are also a good feature for handling different litter types. However, the material is not super sturdy. If the chicken droppings or litter are soft and loose, it works fine. But if the debris is hard, compacted, or stuck to the floor (especially in cold weather), this scooper simply isn't robust enough to handle it. You will definitely need an actual metal shovel or a putty knife to loosen the tough spots first. It's an okay tool for light, daily maintenance, but don't expect it to replace heavy-duty cleaning equipment. Three stars for decent function and good length, but it needs better rigidity. ... show more

I am fussy about keeping my chicken run clean for the girls. This does the trick. I only wish the grate holes were smaller to pick up their overflow of feed on the ground.
