I was really excited to order these as I am making a project for children, but they all had an issue. The chain attached at the sides of the cords are rediculously weak. While making up a sample for children to follow, I immediately noticed that the chain just came apart. I tried 10 or 12 times with 10 or 12 breaks. Because I needed these so badly for two days after I received them, I had no time to send them back. Instead, I ended up getting out my higher quality chain, removed the original chain and replaced it with my stronger chain. I was able to reuse MOST of the clasps, but some of the cords did not even have clasps. They were not in the shipping packaging either. I regret this purchase very much. Instead of one star for sturdiness, I really think it should be one negative star. I have never bought something so sub-par from Amazon. ... show more

Had to fix 10 pieces. Not a big deal or a difficult fix, thankfully, but if I didn't have the tools or the skills, that would've been 10 pieces to throw away. To clarify: I had to reattach the silver parts. Either the lobster clasp or the extension chain had come off. In one case, two of the cords were connected as the extension chain was one continuous piece. Again, not a big deal to me as I can accomplish this while I'm sitting at market. If I were busier or had fewer skills or tools, I would be irritated. I did get exactly 120 pieces. ... show more

I was really disappointed that these were not 20" long. Including the chain, they are about 19 3/4". Where I'm making necklaces for adult males, that makes them just too short for what I need. If you don't need the full length, then these would be fine and are a good value for the money. The quality is pretty good for the price. ... show more

We’ve made a few necklaces with this product. The longest one that went without breaking was 6 days. Not sure if we got a defective product or if all at similar to this quality. But, I can say I will not repurchase this.

I would recommend these and will purchase again in the future. They are not the best quality but a good deal for the price and the quantity. The lobster clasps seem to hold well and the measurements are accurate. I will be a repeat customer.
