Let me start by saying- this is the very first time I have used a juicer and I didn’t know what to expect. When I got to reading that I needed to peel and de seed my lemons, I knew this was going to be a much harder task than I thought. I attempted to make strawberry lemonade and I failed miserably. The next day, I asked my sister to assist because she uses these often and can help me out. So, turns out- this is super easy to use, the juice capacity is way more then expected and the speed is just right for the task at hand! Cleaning out the strainer wasn’t easy at all- I can imagine that’s typical for juicers though as the pulp just gets too thick. Overall, impressed with the quality and I’m very happy with the juicer! I will be using this often!

In the short amount of time we have had this juice it has performed well. My favorite feature is that most of the parts are dishwasher safe. The only one that I would recommend washing by hand is the grinder part. The juicer comes with a brush to get all of the fruit pieces out of the filter and this does a better job of cleaning it than just tossing it into the dishwasher. I handwashed mine and then threw it into the dishwasher with a few bits stuck in it and they didn't come out so I had to scrape them off after they dried. It's not too loud and the suction cups help it to stay put while the machine is running. The machine is listed as a 1200w juicer but the box says 800w-1000w max power. I've never owned a juicer before so I didn't know what kind of performance issues to look for but didn't notice anything concerning. The kids really liked making watermelon juice and are excited to freeze it to make popsicles. The apple juice results were kind of iffy, it definitely took more power to grind through 6 apples than half a watermelon. Overall, this is a nice little appliance that is easy to set up and use. We'll definitely put it to good use.

Ok, I haven't used this yet, in fact I just unpacked it last night but I have to say I am super excited about this juicer. I don't have any juice-able produce right now or I'd have tried it out already! I had a juicer years ago, same design, and it was such a pain to use, and especially to take apart and clean after so I just stopped using it, this juicer pops apart super easy, no special tool, and there's not a bunch of pieces, just 2 for the juicing part, the waste bin, and the juice collection pitcher. The unit itself is heavy, (much heavier than my previous one) it's sturdy and seems to be really well made, there is 2 power modes for different types of produce, and it has suction cups on the bottom to keep it from sliding on the counter. As long as it juices well, (and I can't see any reason why it wouldn't, this isn't new technology) this will be absolutely worth the price.

We've been having a lot of fun with this juicer. So far, we've tried making juice from: oranges, peaches, and carrots. The best result was almost certainly the carrots, as it was able to extract a lot of juice and left what we called "carrot sawdust" behind. The oranges worked pretty well, but we noticed that the "juicier" or "softer" the fruit was the more difficult and messy time it had. The peaches were even worse, and while it certainly did extract a long of thick juice, we had a big pile of leftovers from that. This leads me to the conclusion that this juicer is really most suited for harder produce like carrots, apples, beets, etc. which will yield a much higher juice volume for less waste. Of course, if you are in to composting you can certainly repurpose the "waste" from this process anyway. We used the peach scraps to make a thick freezer jam/spread which turned out pretty good too.

One of my biggest pet peeves of various sellers on Amazon is the inability to have an accurate description of their product. This juicer fits that bill. The ad clearly states this is a 1200 watt juicer, my reason for ordering it. Yet when the box arrives, it says it's "rated power 800w", "peak power 1000w". You open the box and look in the set of instructions and it says "rated power 800w", "peak power 1200w". So, at this point, what is the power?? Who knows! My name brand older juicer started really acting up on me and since I no longer use a juicer a lot, but still like to have one, I thought I'd give it a try. I have juiced an apple and a carrot so far and it's done a nice job. Really can't complain. Instructions say all removable parts are dishwasher safe, I usually handwash mine, so I can't attest to that. The filter basket is a pain to clean, just like all centrifugal juicers. It does come with a brush, although I still have from my old machine and it does a much better job than the one that comes with it. It does have a high juice yield, the pulp was quite dry in both the apple and carrot. The ad talks about less foam, I didn't experience that, but I was okay with that. I thought this one I had a bit more pulp in the juice than my old one, but I kinda liked that actually. I do really like the anti drip spot attachment that comes with it. You don't have juice all over the counter when you pull the jug away. It also has suction feet on the bottom of the unit to keep it from moving around. Overall I'm pleased with the unit itself so far. Once I get a chance to really do some juicing, I'll come back with updated results if I find anything amiss.
