These pre-cut hair extension tape strips are extremely sticky. When I used them to tape a few strands of tinsel in my hair for a party, I didn’t realize that you needed a bottle of hair extension tape remover to take them out without pain and loss of your own hair. Fortunately, I was able to borrow some remover from a friend, but it was an experience I don’t care to repeat. I’m going to use the remaining strips as two-sided tape to seal envelopes and to attach bows to gift packages. The tape is very good, and it does what it is supposed to do, so I am not taking off any stars for my misunderstanding.

I used this to replace some old tape on my extensions and it works great. It's very sticky and had no problem keeping my extensions in place. When I removed it it did leave some residue but no more so than any other tape I've every used and it easily cleaned up with a bit of alcohol. The tape is very clear so not noticeable and it is extremely thin so it doesn't add bulk. Overall I'm really pleased with this tape.

These double sided replacement tapes for my tape in extensions are the perfect size, have great adhesion, and come off easily using my normal remover spray. They're easy to use and the protective backing/facing comes off easily without damaging my expensive extensions or leaving any gross, sticky residue. There's 120 pieces in the pack which is enough to two my entire head of extensions with a few left over. These are also fantastic if you're wearing a glueless lace front wig and you just want a little added security or you have a spot where the lace doesn't naturally lay flat against the skin. Again, they're ready to apply, easy to remove, and don't leave a sticky residue. I've removed them using a commercial spray specifically for this type of product, but I've also had success with 91% isopropyl alcohol. I do recommend the commercially available spray though. They're inexpensive and they work. There's not much more you could ask for.

These arrived yesterday and I knew I would not be reinstalling any extensions for a while, so I taped in a single extension last night (back of my head) last night to sleep on it and see how the tape holds up. No problems at all. I took a shower and washed my hair, conditioning below the tape. Then I forgot I had it in and I combed my hair, catching the tape, but it held, even with that little glitch. (I won't say it didn't hurt!) I cannot tell you how long these will hold, but they seem to be the standard (good quality standard!) tapes. The color is just the backing for the tapes. They are clear, as they should be. There are 180 pieces here, so more than most packages I have ordered in the past. I love to use these to hold clothing to my chest (to keep my modesty) or to hold up a hem or other glitch when I don't have time to do a proper fix.
