It's good for a first quilt if you don't mind that it won't last. I got it to make a practice quilt so I don't mess up the nicer fabric I plan to use. It definitely won't last very long, but it's still worth it. I would buy this again for a variety of projects. It is pretty sheer and fragile, but if you plan to double it up or use it as practice fabric, it's excellent! The picture is of a semi-finished quilt top. It is more sheer than it looks. I took the picture at night. I don't recommend it if you want to make a quilt that will last, though. This one will go to my cat. ... show more

The bundle squares are thin but I like the colors and designs of each one. I sewed four of them together and made larger squares. I will use them with other squares to make a colorful quilt for myself. I am impressed with the squares and I will buy them again. I think they are worth the price that I paid for them.
