The biggest benefit of using peel and stick flooring is how easy it is to install. But can you grout it to look more realistic? And adding grout between tiles provides a new layer of dimension that mimics traditional tile. What tool will best cut these tiles? Cut straight edges: You can use a utility knife to create a crack on the tile surface and then break off following the crack. Cut through tiles: Use a Dremel, chop saw, jigsaw, or rotary tools. How can I grout these tiles? The grouting technique is similar to traditional tile, using a hard rubber float for grouting and a soft sponge to clean. Cement grout may scratch, so don’t use it. Can you use a groutble tile directly over an existing floor? You can install peel and stick tile directly; however, if the surface is not flat and leveled, you need to remove the pre-existing floor and install an underlayment.
