These are perfect size and fairly easy to work with. Im still trying out what's best to color my pictures with but it's fun learning. I've found that using gel pens really work the best for me for I don't paint and felt pens smear and run together. You can transfer pictures on them, you can do so much with them. I like these panels. I've come to prefer a solid substrate, and like the light texture of the canvas layer. I would like a little less texture, tho, and another layer of gesso would be nice. This is the best canvas board I have found. It is not too "toothy". It holds paint well and does not warp. It is a great product. Sometimes I roll an extra coat of gesso on the surface for a tighter weave. Very happy customer.
