My twins can’t open the cabinets so I would say it works great. Only downside is you need both hands to open it. One hand on the magnet and one to pull the door open. If you have something in your hands it’s hard to open. It is effective and that’s what matters.

They do work, however, they can be a little tricky to install. Once installed they work great as long as they stick long enough, I ended up having to buy sticky pads to put on them to get the right stickiness to the drawers. Honestly, without me buying the extra sticky pads it would get ripped off the moment my toddler tried to open the drawer but now it’s hard for him to do. Worth the money though!

Finally got to put one of these in, to keep my 2 and 5 year olds out of my broom cupboard, and I’m happy! My eldest is almost 19 and I used one of the original name brand magnetic cupboard locks from the 1990’s when she was little, which were the only thing that kept her out with her being clever and being able to open regular child locks at a year and a half old. I was bummed to see that the name brand is no longer around, so gave these a shot. The sticky tape will NOT hold the locks in place, BUT they’re definitely a HUGE help in installing them via drilling! This type of lock works better with solid or plywood cabinet doors and frames, so be aware that if you have particle board cabinets, the cabinets may break if you have particularly strong kiddos! This was put on a very old solid cabinet from the 1960’s and has been quite strong, successfully keeping my wee ones from getting to my broom and mops. Works as well as the original name brand with the magnetic keys, so this performs as well as the name brand in all aspects, and is much easier to open than typical child locks. Will be saving this in case I need more in the future!

I ordered these child locks to lock up my cabinets and drawers in my kitchen. Most child locks on the market my kids can easily figure out how to get into them. I am hopeful that these will be a lot harder to figure out. The magnetic system seems fairly powerful, and i could tell they were durable when i took them out of the package. I am happy with the fact that they included two keys, two different ways to install the locks, and the lock stickers so you know exactly where to place the key to unlock. The only issue I have had so far is installing the locks following the instructions given. I typically dont have trouble following instructions and using common sense to install/assemble new things but these were difficult both ways. I may end up having to use the included screws to install these because I had to place the locks with the adhesive and then move them around a few times to get the correct placement for the cabinet to close properly. Now I'm unsure of the adhesive strength since I placed and removed them at least 4 or 5 times... Whatever strength the adhesive did have may have been compromised by my actions. We will see. I will update my review with more use as needed.

These are a but tricky to install mostly due to having to align them perfectly and the risk of losing stickiness in the process but if you do prep work and mark your area it mostly solves that. Also, preemptively put the dang key on a keychain or something because you will lose it, it’s small! Overall a great product as you get the benefits of baby proofing without compromising aesthetic. A godsend for our household as we have a rambunctious toddler who gets in to absolutely everything. Parenting win!

These don’t work unless you drill them in. They definitely aren’t sticky enough for the magnetic part. Other than that… super good and durable. Works well, arrived on time and soo many locks to go around
