  • Excellent cut on PVC sheet
Size: 10" 80T
Actually impressed with the quality of cut produced. Almost a polished appearance to the cut. No issues with melting the cut. Used on PVC Sheet

  • Cuts heavy aluminum shower door header easily
Size: 10" 80T
A few years ago I came into possession of a Kohler Levity sliding shower door and I finally installed it on a new shower build last month. I need to also mention that this Levity door is the 59" x 74", 3/8" thick version that retails for over $1K. Each of the glass doors that hang from the header weigh about 60-70 lbs and the header has to fully support both of them. across the full span of the shower. That header is a beast of a piece of very solid aluminum, and it needs to be cut very precisely to fit the area available. I knew there was no realistic hope of doing this as precisely as it should be done with a hacksaw in a miter box, as the directions for the door indicate. I went looking for a heavy, thick circular blade for cutting non-ferrous metals to put into my 10-inch 15-amp power miter saw for this task. This was it. It cut more cleanly, easily, and precisely than I had any right to hope. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. I can't speak for the longevity of the blade under regular use other than to vouch for its thickness and state that this is not a thin-kerf blade. I can tell you that it cut into my beefy bar of aluminum very cleanly and shaved it down with no fuss a couple more times very cleanly. ... show more

  • great for the money

Functions as descibed. Sharp and accurate, keeps its edge in soft aluminum

  • Clean cuts... mostly
Size: 12" 96T
I used this for cutting aluminum counter top edging (Schluter Rondec) in a chop saw. Most cuts were smooth and clean. A couple of times the material caught and went flying. Likely my technique was at fault as I haven't cut metal this way before. After that I made the cuts very slow without further issue. The blade seems to be of good quality, and comes in lovely packaging. I can't comment on longevity as I haven't used it much. I have made a couple of cuts in wood, as well, while I have the blade mounted. They cut easily, with a fine finish. Seems like an excellent value. ... show more

  • Worked great
Size: 10" 80T
Bought this saw blade to cut thick wall aluminum deck railing. It's a big deck and I had to make about 18 cuts. The blade cut smooth with no deflection and was still sharp after the last cut. I don't often give 5 star ratings but this blade worked great!

  • As advertised!
Size: 10" 80T
Using the 80 tooth to shorten extruded aluminum deck railing sections to desired lengths. Super clean cuts, no filing required. No need for anything else except eye protection.

  • Clean, burr-free cuts, cut after cut after cut!
Size: 12" 96T
I bought this blade specifically to cut custom aluminum railing and balusters for our porch and deck. The railing is all made of 1/8"+ aluminum and to make it fit well, the cuts have to be clean and accurate. Rather than use a standard carbide blade designed for wood cutting, I followed the recommendation to use a blade where the teeth are at least vertical and even slightly tipped back. The teeth on this blade are tipped at -5 degrees and just perfect to make clean cuts. After several hundred cuts, there are still no burrs or edges that have to be trimmed or smoothed with a file. The blade is still incredibly sharp and not a single tooth is missing. If you need to cut non-ferrous material like aluminum or copper, do yourself a favor and get a blade that's specifically designed to do the job. This one from Twin-Town is a winner! ... show more

  • The review hype is not warranted
Size: 10" 80T
The blade was bought to cut plastic while a more expensive TCG blade is being sharpened. 1. this blade is lightweight meaning the thickness if the blank is is not full size or a heavy blank. 2. The blade was crudely sharpened 3. The blade wined badly on my cabinet saw meaning the blade is not properly balanced. I would be hard pressed to believe this blade is a long term investment. Plastics on a table saw or light aluminum on a chop saw. The saw blade has a positive rake so is not ideal for smooth chop saw use. You get what you pay for ... show more
