This mixer has the normal channel knobs for the 3 basic tone knobs, aux, gain, found on pro mixers, and the colors for the tone, aux, etc. help alot with locating what you need to adjust right away. I am amazed at how inexpensive this mixer is compared to the $400. mixer I bought in 2004, that I am replacing with this MIZISNR mixer. You would have paid at least $150. for a decent sound effects rack mount , and about the same is true for the 7 band equalizer. This MIZISNR 12 ch mixing board is easy to control, good room sounds, and overall tone. I haven't used my computer with it yet, and have full confidence of how simple and how well it will work with my DAW. I cannot see how anyone could be disappointed with this feature packed mixing board!

Good quality, however, the onboard effects cause distortion. I cannot use any of them without getting some distortion in the microphone. You'll probably want to use an outside effects unit and run it through the aux channel.

The product itself was fantastic, BUT I had issues with the effects portion, was not able to use the effects with out a warbleing sound coming from the fx processor, almost sounded like a short in a mic cable, it happened on every effect I tried. Little pops happening, but when I muted or turned down the effects, it would compley stop and go away, the mixer was fine but had to return due to the effects processor issue, only had it 2 days.

I have used a number of different mixing boards for our three piece band over the years. This one has it all - plenty of channels, lots of effect choices, and a very clean sound. The only cons are that it is a bit large, and it does not come with a case. Once I found a case to get it to and from gigs, it has been perfect for our needs.
