I bought these to jazz up my cats’ climbing trees* a little bit, and also plan to attach them to a ceiling fan that’s already about to die so I (the cats) can have a little fun with it before I install the new one. Naturally, as soon as I took them out of the package to check, I learned that the cats would have had just as much fun with only the simple twine string as with the colorful flags themselves!! But that’s okay, because I bought them for my entertainment too, honestly. And what a great idea that was. The bright burlap fabric encourages them to scratch and claw, and the pennants fluttering through the air encourage them to chase and jump. If you’re using them for more normal purposes, you’ll be equally pleased, I’m sure. The flags are pre-threaded on the twine, and they’re not sewn or locked into place, so you can space them out if you like, or squish them all together for a more intense explosion of color. You could even get more twine and make the pennant as long as you want by threading them onto the new section of twine, but at such a low price, surely it’s more cost efficient to just buy two sets and spend your valuable time doing something else, like watching cats play. I hope my cats are as pleased with these as I am!! *Don’t worry, I will be cautious about strangulation hazards. Lengths no longer than 3-4 flags for my adult cats, taking it down to 2 if I ever bring in any kittens.

We ordered this for my toddler's outside playhouse and were actually quite impressed. The colors are nice, there's a lot of length so a good value (much more length than we need but it might come in handy one day). They probably won't hold up more than a few weeks outside since usually these are used temporarily but we have plenty so I'm not too concerned.
