Its nice to have a collection of washers handy (and organized in a plastic case!). How many times have I had to go to the hardware store just to get a washer or a pair of washers of a certain size?! This little box contains an impressive 1100 washers, although most are tiny. 800 of them are M2 to M3 (2 to 3 mm hole size). Those are used in holding fine wire connectors - but this is not something I need often - so I am thinking of them as freebies. The washers are made of 304 stainless steel. These will help with repairs and project, save trips to the store and pay for themselves quickly.

This 1100 piece stainless washer set came in a nice plastic box with split compartments for each of the washer sizes. The box has a little snap type clasp that keeps it closed. The washer's themselves all look to be the same finish, no oddballs in there. None of them are magnetic, so that's a good sign leaning towards the stainless steel aspect of these. The assorted sizes range from M12 on the largest side, down to M2. The M2's are tiny, and there's also the most of them. The quantity is listed in the auction, but it's basically more of the smaller ones, and they gradually go down in quantity with each size they go up. The M3 size (came with 250) are the perfect size to use as a washer for 1/8" pop rivets. The larger ones are all perfect as an assortment for screws/bolts/automotive. The M2.5 and M2 are so small I haven't found a use for them yet. But even with that in mind, for the price (under $10 at the time of this review), this is a great deal, especially for me considering I am always finding myself running to the hardware store for washers, and the stainless washers there are running $0.17-$0.80 EACH for these sizes.

It's always good to have some assorted hardware on hand. I've already made use of a few of these washers on various projects. It's nice having some all sorted out instead of having to dig through cans and jars of old hardware. I recently 3d printed some new hood bumpers out of tpu for my old truck, and needed some washers for the bolt holes too keep the bolts from just pulling through them. Being stainless steel they should hold up well to the elements and not rust up like the originals. I hate going to my local stores to buy hardware. It takes forever as they want everything sorted and counted. Nothing like waiting for the guy at the checkout counter to make sure you counted every nut and bolt in the bag correctly.

Who doesn't occasionally need a washer for their bolts/screws and then have a hard time looking for them especially for someone like me who 3d prints a lot and use a lot of metric screws and bolts. I can't even count how many times I have gone to the hardware store to pick up a flash washer for one particular sized bolt or another and wished that I just kept a bin full of washers for my most used bolts/screws. Now I don't have to think too much about it as this assortment kit takes care of all my most used metric bolts/screws that I use on my projects and then some. It is also great that the washers that come with the kit are all stainless steel so I don't have to worry if it might rust or not if it is exposed to the elements. A must have for those who use metric bolts/screws often.

Nice washer assortment for the money, even though I rarely ever have a use for the smaller M2.5 or M2 sizes. You still get good quantities of the larger sizes, so all in all, the kit is still good value. At Lowe's they sell a pack of 12 quantity 8M zinc (not stainless) washers for $2.29, so with just that one size you get 50 with this kit and that basically pays for this kit. The rest are free at that point. In addition, you get a decent storage box to keep them in for easy benchtop access. Good item to stock up on to save you running to town for a ten cent part or not using a washer when you should've, and especially when they have the 20% off coupon available. Shipped and received in one day. 5- Stars!
