The media could not be loaded. I believe the product is defective. Showing a 50lbs tensile strength, I can not pull more than 1/2 lbs at best. The attached video is at 45 degrees. I should have checked the product as soon as received it, lesson learned. The Seller is great and I have used them in the past. I bought these to replenish the ones we use at football games to hang the sponsor's banners. I've never had an issue in the past with zip ties, but these are not the most reliable. On the first day, nearly half of the banners were coming down and the zip ties were coming apart. I found that I had to really pull the tail through the opening to get the ridges to bite because if I just barely pulled it through (it was a tight fit), then there just weren't enough teeth to hold the zip tie and the banner would blow loose. So, the hold isn't what I'd expect from an average zip tie... below bar. Also, someone noticed that you can simply push a fingernail into the opening, and the zip tie slides open. That's good if you want to reuse them, and also good if you're tied up with these zip ties and need to escape, but for hanging banners, it was no good. The claims of 50 lbs. tensile strength may be true sometimes, but there are too many failures to consider these to be reliable. Although the price is good (which is why I bought them), you need to consider whether it's acceptable to have 10-20% of the ties fail. If so, then these are for you. If not, then don't pull the trigger on these. ... show more
