  • Great value compared to OEM, easy to install, immediate positive difference
Size: 13" Black
Bottom Line - Easy install, good value, nice alternative to name brand shocks that cost many times more. I installed these on my 2015 Street Glide. I found installation to be very straightforward and the performance of the shock absorbers to be good. The difference in handling was notable. These feel stiffer, which is good. And they don't bottom out like the stock HD shocks. They come with a tool to allow the adjustment of preload, and the tool could be better, as I found using it to adjust the shocks to be a bit fussy. But that is a small complaint. Honestly, not having to drop $500 or $800 or $1000 on a pair of rear shocks is a relief. I'm tired of everything Harley being many times more for no perceivable benefit in build quality. I suspect a lot of these items come out of the same Chinese factory, but the addition of the HD logo means you have to pay 4x as much. I hear of HD's financial issues, think of parts like these, and I roll my eyes. I've only had these for 4 months, but so far, I've not noticed any degradation of performance or appearance. ... show more

  • Lowers rear & performs as expected for the price
Size: 11.75" Black
YES, BUY THEM, but please read this first. I needed to replace stock shocks, & a lower than stock rear ride height desired, if possible. Much research, found Mofun 11.75's indicated they do just that. BE SURE YOU ORDER THE CORRECT SHOCKS FOR THE BIKE. Both advertisements/listings for the sportsters & the touring models appear identical, so be absolutely certain you read & find your application before clicking! Only thing that I could think of after reading reviews was saying that shocks would not support weight of the touring models. Now the facts & findings: Lowered just over 1'' measuring bike in stand, straight up before & after. Measurements taken exact same locations rear bag & muffler brackets both L&R sides & third measurement @ bottom edge of rear fender. I read a few negative reviews regarding the actual ride/shock performance and expected for them to perform poorly. I started out setting the coil spring preload in the middle, took short ride; upon hitting small bumps & dips would hear hard pop occasionally. Shock is plenty stiff at this setting and easily determined the noise was hydraulic dampening of the shock was topping out. I stopped and dropped the spring preload (both of course) to the minimum setting as indicated in attached pics. Bike road much different, noise gone & a much softer ride with no topping or bottoming out. I weigh 215lbs, ride solo 99% of the time, but may try next setting up (increase preload one notch) once I have taken bike for a good long road test. Yes, I have my own shock adjustment wrench, as it is much easier to work with. Because of price/quality, best bang for the buck$ I recommend Mofun shocks for the budget minded. ... show more

  • Not great
Size: 13" Chrome
Package arrived without adjustment tool. Product was used. Had greasy fingerprints all over it. I would return it but left with no other option. I needed them for a trip the next day. Easy to install but could not adjust the preload. Stiff ride and bottomed out on slightly bumpy roadways when riding with passenger. ... show more

  • Worth the money.
Size: 13" Black
I'm 300lbs on a sportster. Stock shocks were fine but I added those diffused led rear fender lights and the wheel shaved a hole in light in 2 minutes going no faster than 8 miles an hour. I knew then, get rid of the light or get longer suspension. (Losing weight is an option for suckas!!!) Lmao. I was worried I would have to spend $300 to $500 for suspension for an $18 light when the stock was just fine. Then I saw this and had to take a chance. Amazing upgrade, raised the rear 1.5 inches stock and it absorbs all the bumps. Don't listen to the bad reviews, they either got a lemon part or they don't know up from down. I'd bet the latter. I'm guessing the cheap price will show up in the paint finish degrading fast or the seals wear away quickly. I will follow up a few months with an update. ... show more

Previous shocks were bad, didn’t want to spend $500+ so ordered these for my 2024 Street glide. They installed easy and ride good. Seems to be a quality shock, but no wrench for adjustment was included.

  • You get what you pay for. Prepare for maintenance
Size: 11.75" Black
Good for price, put on a 2021 road glide with your pack. Didn’t come with the adjust tool, just used channel locks. Once it was adjusted correctly. They road better than most cheaper shocks, until the bushings went out. I recommend getting a set of bushings to have you’ll get about 2k-4k miles out of these with a heavy bagger before you need to replace the bushings. I’m also 275lbs and my wife is 160lbs just for measure. ... show more
