I know... This is aluminum extrusion. It either is, or is not. Well, it is. However, it is identified as 15.75 inch (400mm) extrusion. If you are ordering it for those measurements, you will have to trim it to size. I measured three of the four pieces at 401mm, and one of the four as 403mm. For those imperialists out there, that would be just shy of 15-13/16 inches and one at just shy of 15-7/8 inches. I measured them to be 19.86mm x 19.86mm. This seems to be consistent amongst all four pieces. Overall, I can recommend this extrusion, just be aware you are going to have to trim to length if you need exact sizes. ... show more

The extrusion quality is flawless, I found no problems anywhere in the extrusion. The lengths were all slightly off - none were below 400mm but none were exactly 400mm either. Nothing major to complain about but when the ad states 400mm that's what I would expect. Outside of the slightly off-length cuts these are really high quality extrusions, straight and true. ... show more

I needed this to replace some rails on a 3D printer that were bent and they seem to be working well. As far as I could tell, they are straight and extruded nicely. I would use them again in the future.

My 4 pieces of 15.75 inch (400mm) of T slot 2020 Aluminum Extrusion are destined to become part of a robot chassis. They arrived in good shape individually wrapped and packaged compactly in a cardboard box. All the extrusions were straight with no warp or scratches. Each side of the extrusion has a slot that can be used with T nuts to position other parts along the extrusion. Also, the slot is just the right size to pass LED strips down. The top of the slots is beveled and can be use with beveled wheels. There is a 5 mm hole thru the center of the extrusion that can be used to attach structural elements or pass wires. If you have high tooth carbide blade on your table or chop saw, it can easily make custom sizes. You can also cut the extrusions by hand with a hacksaw. These extrusions are very versatile, strong, light weight and good quality. I highly recommend them. ... show more

Good quality and dimensionally accurate extrusion, at least the profile is accurate. My extrusion came in at different lengths but all of them were at least 400mm which is what was advertised. For me the difference in lengths is not a problem but if you were hoping for exactly 400mm you may need to keep looking unless you’re OK cutting them down. Mill finish with rounded outside corners. It doesn’t have the smooth v slot like the rails on my ender 3 3d printer so I am not sure that these will work as well with v wheels. This is however great extrusion for building specialized rigs and jigs which is what I picked it up for. ... show more
