I purchased these earrings for my wife's birthday. They are beautiful, but they have one big problem. After wearing the earrings one time, the jewel fell out of the setting. My wife felt bad, so she didn't tell me about the problem until just recently. I really think the stone is too heavy for the setting, which is extremely lightweight. I purchased the lab-created sapphires. They are beautiful! One huge problem. The setting is way too high. What does this mean for you? I'll tell you. It means that the stone won't lay flat against your ear and may point downward instead. I have push the back of the earring on really tight to get these to stand up the way they should and it is uncomfortable. Other than the setting, I love them. ... show more
