The media could not be loaded. it feels like one of those tools you keep reaching for even when you have other options around, and the first thing I noticed was how solid and balanced it is in the hand without feeling clunky or tiring during longer cuts, and that matters a lot when you’re dealing with tough stuff like PVC, TPO, EPDM, or even thick fabrics and composites that usually make regular scissors struggle or bend, but this one slices through them with a clean controlled motion that doesn’t snag or twist the material, giving you a much cleaner edge and making the work look more proffesional, and one thing I really appreciated is that it holds its sharpness well even after repeated use which saves time and avoids the annoying need to resharpen all the time, plus the handle has a comfortable shape that gives good leverage so you don’t have to squeeze too hard which reduces hand fatigue if you’re using it for extended periods, especially if you’re a crafter, roofer, or working with textiles, and if you’re cutting long straight lines I found that anchoring the material with your off hand and keeping steady forward pressure helps get perfect edges, also a small tip I learned is wiping the blades after cutting adhesives or heated materials because residue can dull the glide if it builds up, and I think anyone using it for home projects, welding work, roofing, or fabric trimming will appreciate how predictable and reliable the cut feels because nothing is worse than jagged edges when you’re trying to make precise fitting pieces, and even though it’s advertised for heavy duty work it’s still nimble enough for detail trimming which makes it kind of a universal tool you don’t want to misplace, and the build quality feels sturdy enough to last for years without loosening or getting wobbly at the hinge, something that cheaper tools usually suffer from, and while it’s obviously on the stronger side it’s still smooth so you won’t feel that rough grinding sensation some industrial scissors have, and I’d say if someone is working with roofing membranes, craft materials, or thick layered textiles then this will make their job faster and cleaner, I also noticed that using a cutting mat under the material helps keep the blade edge protected, especially if you’re trimming right to the edge, and even though I’ve used it a ton already it still opens and closes with the same smoothness from day one which tells me the hinge quality is solid, and in general I feel like it gives a great blend of control, longevity, and trusted sharpness that makes it worth every penny, so if someone wants one tool that can handle both delicate shaping and heavy cutting this is the one I’d recomend without hesitation.

This is a really nice pair of large 10” heavy duty scissors. They are made well with a nice fit and finish. In my opinion they are industrial/professional scissors worth the extra cost if you need tough scissors. When you hold a pair of these in your hands they have a really nice tactile feel. They have a very satisfying snippy snip and slicing sound when actuating them. The pair I received came very sharp and can cut through everything from fabric to thick leather to thin metal sheets. It's probably best if you're using them for fabric, not to use them for leather or metal, but I tested them on everything anyway. They work great and are still highly functional and sharp after testing. They have a pivot screw so the blade “ride” can be adjusted for different cutting tasks. The carbon steel blades are almost knife sharp and can cut you if you're not careful. Being carbon steel they may need some care to prevent rust, a very thin coat of a light oil is all that should be needed to keep them rust free. There is a black coating on the blades which should help prevent any rust too. The handles or “bow” is comfortable and fits the hand well, however they are designed for right hand use and may not be as comfortable if you're left handed. The handles have been dipped in a thick rubber coating and have a soft grippy feel which is nice. (I just hope the rubber stuff they used doesn't disintegrate in a few years and turn into a nasty sticky mess. I've had some tools with a dipped rubber coating, similar to the stuff that's on these handles, that became a gooey mess after a few years. Only time will tell if these do the same.) According to the listing they can be used for roofing and all types of stuff. I don't think they were exaggerating. These are a big tough pair of scissors, but I wouldn't use them on roofing tiles if you're intending to use them for fabric afterwards. Overall, I think these are a great pair of scissors. They are fairly expensive for scissors, but a good value for professional scissors of this quality. In my opinion they could last a lifetime if taken care of (depending on use or abuse).

I was looking for a heavy duty, sharp set of shears that I could put somewhere just for me. Saw these and I’m glad I got them! Nice fit and finish. Blade very sharp and don’t hang up on fabric or felt. Seems to be made of good steel. Only markings are in Japanese so I can’t tell. Handles are nicely covered in vinyl for sure grip. I like them! covered in vinyl for good grip.

These scissors seem sturdy and good quality. They have a nice weight to them, as I would expect of tailor and seamstress scissors. The handles are smooth and roomy. They close fully and don't rattle. I'm hopeful that they'll keep their edge for quite some time. With the quality of the metal, I think I'll be able to put a new edge when the time comes. I think $17.90 USD is a very reasonable price range for scissors of this quality.
