We ordered this wifi camera to keep and eye on my pup when we are away from home. She is aging and has had some issues and I just wanted to be able to check on her even if I am out of the house. I like that the camera can be adjusted and moved from left to right and up and down. I have it placed in an area that allows me to be able to view a good majority of our space. It is pretty simple to get it set up. You basically download the app and then set the camera up on the existing wifi. Once it is set up on the wifi network you control everything from the app. You can either have the recordings saved in the cloud for a small fee or you can use a sd card. I like the live view also. I can just click on the app at any time and watch a live view of my home. It also has the capability to be able to talk back and forth. The picture is actually pretty clear for such a small camera. So far this camera has been a great investment. It gives me peace of mind and allows me to be out while I still have the ability to check on my home and my fur baby. That is a nice anxiety reliever for me. The package has everything needed to get this camera set up including the hardware to screw it to the wall or elsewhere.     • Could be more secure
If you are having trouble with the setup you should know that you can not use any characters other than English alphabet and numbers. No special characters like &$# etc. Also no WEP safe mode! What??? See support reply to my email for help below. ---------------> Dear customer: Thank you very much for the support of our product. Before Adding the Device: 1. Connect your phone to 2.4G Wi-Fi (5G is not supported) 2. Wi-Fi password does not support special characters (Eg. * / @ $). Please reset the Wi-Fi password only with English letters and numbers. 3. Make sure the Wi-Fi signal is full. 4. This camera doesn’t support WEP safe mode, please switch the Wi-Fi WEP safe mode to another mode. Hope these steps can help you.     • Great quality but has flaws
I bought this as a baby monitor after my previous monitor had taken too many falls. This monitor has great quality and the night vision is spot on. My biggest issue is the freezing, I am aware that they will freeze as my last monitor did but NOTHING like this one. On HD this froze every few minutes, which was frustrating, despite have extenders to cover the entire house I tried it near the router and it still would freeze often. I was very tempted to return as it was useless, but then I discovered I could put it on SD and that made a difference. My other issue is the sound, it's not the greatest. I leave a sound machine in my son's room, my old one picked up the noise and this one doesn't. Its hard to hear and sometimes my son would be crying and I'd still hear nothing, Over all its pretty decent and still reliable for the most part. Been using this for quite some time to check up on my pet bunny to see if she's fine during the nighttime. The camera works fine and night vision is perfect! Just that every time my bunny opens her eyes, you can see her eyes are white which makes her look like a devil, but cute. The camera detects perfect sound, it works very well. This works very well for my needs and at this price it was definitely a good buy. I initially had some feedback issues when using the microphone, but I learned that if you try to use the microphone in the same room as the camera you will get audio feedback. Once I left the room the feedback went away and everything is working great. First of all, you must consdier that you are not paying much, so don't compare it with high end cameras. The camera does its job of security camera for the price, the picture quality is nice and the night vision really surprised me.     • Camera for great peace of mind
This camera is awesome! I love that it can swivel and that there is two way communication. I actually got this for my dog because I worry about her when she is home alone since theft is really high in our town and we don't have a deadbolt. Before we tried using an app on our computer but the computer kept going to sleep mode and the camera can't swivel so we couldn't see her all the time. It also took a long time to get it ready so we never did it. This camera is giving me so much peace of mind and it is really easy to use! ... show more

    • Crap quality no motion/crying sensor
Quality is crap, ap keeps freezing, the company uses the ap that you HAVE TO GET to advertise to you, it says it had motion/crying sensor. I’ve allowed all permission on this camera and it doesn’t work. It does not alert to motion or crying. Junk. Get something else.
