These are pretty straightforward to use and while they aren't as strong as zip ties they definitely fill a void in the xip toe kingdom. I don't have a scale I can test the pullout pressure on, but it seems to be around 30 lbs which is pretty good. I have multiple plastic trim pieces on my work truck that these are currently holding together. I don't foresee any issues since it's all under a hood and not subjected to heat from the engine or UV light. Now, the caps do stick up a bit from the surface, but for the ease of installation I can't really ding them. If you can see the value then I'd recommend getting these. They'll help you when you least expect it.

The media could not be loaded. I began by lining up the bumper and fender. Following this, I removed the remaining broken fasteners with the use of a basic trim tool. Lastly, I began the process of matching the clips from the kit to the existing holes. It took a few attempts to determine which ones would be the most comfortable to sit on in each location, but once they were in place, the new clips kept the bumper securely fastened to the body. The space that had formed between the bumper and the fender was no longer visible, and the front of the vehicle seemed to be correctly aligned once again. The discrepancy was glaringly clear when I took the car for a test drive. When I would drive over uneven terrain, the bumper would noticeably tremble, and I would sometimes be able to hear a faint thud emanating from that corner. Even when I went over speed bumps or patched portions of road, the bumper remained stable after I had replaced the damaged hardware with these clips. Everything has remained securely in its position after the passage of a few weeks, during which time there were multiple drives on the highway as well as one significant downpour. There have been no indications of anybody withdrawing or loosening anything. After having fixed the bumper, I used the remaining clips to fasten the front splash shield and a portion of the wheel-well guard that had begun to droop. Prior to that, the shield would sometimes brush the ground while reversing out of my driveway at an angle. I was able to use this kit to rejoin those pieces such that they are once again situated near to the chassis. There have been no scraping sounds coming from the rear of the vehicle since that time, and the region of the wheel well seems like it has no looseness when I give it a little squeeze.

Very strong cable tie buckles--I tested one by securing the buckle, pressed the lock on part-way, and pulling as hard as I could: The lock did not slip at all, and I could not break the buckle. So should hold parts securely together even under aggressive use--definitely going in my car and kayak repair kits! Be sure to orient the lock the proper way when you slide it on the cable tie, otherwise will slip off rather than lock--it will be obvious when you see it. Lots of different uses--e.g., punch holes in scrap book pages, and use these to hold the pages together. Only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 is that the description says the "Item Length" is 7.8 inches, but it is actually ~3.5 inches. (It does show the correct length in one of the photos, but I hadn't noticed it before ordering).
