I usually use the clear ornaments that you use by filling from the hole in the top stem. Obviously that style has limitations because there is not a large opening, so I typically coat the inside with glitter and then paint and glue decorations on the outside. These come in two halves and ‘snap’ together — but ‘snap’ is not really a correct term because I feel like ‘snap’ implies some kind of security and hold for keeping the two pieces together. I just can’t feel secure that these two pieces will hold themselves together on their own, so I believe a little super glue is needed at the edge to ensure it stays together. The good thing about this style is that you can place large objects inside.

I got these for my personalized ornaments I make. I typically use the ones with the larger opening at the top, this was my first experience with the ones that open half and half with the seam. I don't care for the seam where the halves snap shut, but I am able to fit larger objects inside. When hanging, the seam isn't as noticeable so that's good. My only struggle with these is coating the bottom of the bauble with glitter or faux snow. Its hard to add without making a mess because I can't add to both halves. Baubles are large enough for showcasing items or adding DIY. So far I've made small books and added baby booties for orders. Would order again.
