At first, I didn't like this set. If i need to change a filter, and some solution was still in the upper chamber, it was hard to pure it out without spill. But later I figured out that the problem due to the weak vacuum that was created. After I changed the pump I start liking this set. This vacuum filtration unit includes a plastic lid, glass 300 mL "funnel", glass (fritted) base, rubber stopper (with hole), glass funnel, glass flask (500 mL) and anodized aluminum clamp - all quality items. The clamp is strong enough to firmly keep the funnel and base securely together during vacuum filtration. The ad states it is compatible with 50 mm paper filters but I found it worked well with 47 mm glass fiber filters (and other 47 mm filters). Great value! ... show more

Works great. Only thing that should be better would be the clamp. The clamp could have a stronger spring and be thicker on the inside to grab the glass
