Use it to separate out ethanol from 93 octane gas for my lawn mower. Valve at bottom allows for shutting of that flow at the precise moment the water has run out for no fuel waste. This is a cheap piece of crap. It won't separate anything but very fine textured solutions without clogging. The valve is hard to turn and it leaks. Other than that, it's ok. Summary: it blows.
