NOTE: item received for free through the vine program A good set of sheets can be tricky to find, and if you’re sharing a bed it’s doubly hard. I was looking to replace a set that was starting to get worn out. Overall, this is a pretty decent sheet set for the price, and my wife and I would've been satisfied had we actually paid for the set rather than getting it through Vine. They're not perfect, but for the price, they're good value and have remained on the bed since we got them. THE GOOD: - The sheets themselves are very nicely made. The set we received didn't have any obvious manufacturing defects, and they were very soft and thick. - We ordered a king size set, and everything fit our bed well. The fitted sheet actually has tags on both side indicating the top and bottom; this is easy enough to figure out, but for a bigger sheet is actually a nice convenience. We've got a fairly thick mattress, and the fitted sheet fit just fine. THE MEH: - These are relatively warm compared to our previous sheets. Depending on how you sleep, this may be a good or a bad thing. My wife tends to be colder at night while I tend to be warmer. Since we live in the south, these would be a little warm for us to use during the summer months but perfect for the winter. Keep this in mind as, despite the seller's description, our experience was that these sheets aren't that cool. THE BAD: - Immediately out of the package, there was a pretty unpleasant smell to the whole set. That didn't bode well, though after one cycle through the wash everything smelled fine. For a sheet set, though, it's weird that there would be any stench at all... For $80 at the time of this writing, my wife and I both agree that this set is a pretty decent value. The odd smell when initially opening the set was weird, but everything else about this set was otherwise a positive, except for maybe the warmer temperature. The sheets themselves are indeed soft, though, and feel pretty well-made. As long as the potential downsides aren't deal breakers for you, this is a a great value. Definitely recommend as long as you're fine with a warmer sheet set! ... show more

I ordered these sheets to use in our RV where it can get a little warm. I was hoping that these sheets would provide a little "coolness" as I always am a little warm. They did just that. They are a beautiful bright white which brights up the dark bedroom and are supersoft. I just finished running them through the wash just to see how they washed and dried. They washed up nicely. The dryer left a few wrinkles in them but I get that with all sheets (not about to start ironing sheets ... no one has time for that). ... show more

Now that it's heading into the cooler Autumn/Winter months, it's time to break out the heavier sheets and these 1000 TC Cotton Sheets by CGK Unlimited really fit the bill! I ordered and received the King size set. The fitted sheet is more than deep enough for a mattress and mattress topper (or for a extra thick mattress) and the pillow cases are correctly sized for longer/king pillows. They washed nicely, and dried in a normal amount of time. As instructed on the packaging, taking them out of the drier quickly once they're done drying is the key to avoiding wrinkles. Once they're on the bed, they might wrinkle with overnight use, but once you make the bed in the morning, the wrinkles seem to fall out in short order. By the time evening rolls around, those wrinkles have disappeared. I think the denser, high thread-count material definitely helps in this regard. I was most impressed to find that the sheets were already soft right out of the package... some sheets might take a few wash/dry cycles to start to really feel soft, but these were at full softness from the get go. Sleeping on them is an experience for me, as I usually tend towards lighter or crisper (or cheaper) sheets that just don't feel special. These sheets feel like luxury! They're thicker than all-season sheets, and softer too. The build quality on them is very good, all the hems/edges I looked at are sewn to a high standard and trimmed neatly so I have confidence that they'll continue to look good for a long time. These 1000 TC sheets do run warmer than the generic sheets I would normally use in the warm months, but that's a good thing when it starts to get colder overnight and every bit of warmth counts. I prefer to sleep on the cooler side of the scale, so these won't get used in the Spring/Summer. But, there's room on the blanket shelf for them during the offseason and I'll look forward to continuing to use them for years to come. ... show more
