Got these for Dad's "shipwreck corner" in his nautical room, the price was good. They were too thin to sit firmly, so Dad took three small wooden matches and placed them into the holders, then pushed the candles in. Problem solved! Also, he place one of the matches up fairly high so when the candles burn down, that match flares and it's time to swap out the candles! :) ... show more

The candles are excellent, good packaging, they all arrived intact. They are definitely Dripless and their brightness time is relatively long, a little less than 8 hours bright (between 6-7 hours) but still lasts well (some of the candles did manage to last longer for me. It depends of course on the place and if there is a wind blowing them all the time). Although they are thinner than the average size, especially at the bottom, and even though I thought they would fit the slim candlesticks I have, they are a bit thin for them. However the description definitely matches and over all a great buy and worth the money. ... show more

These candles are attractive but are so slender that I must wrap waxed paper around the base of the candles to secure them upright in my holders. They burn cleanly and do not produce excessive smoke. I just wish that they were larger in diameter.

Also got the holders on amazon, but as far as I know, the lasted as long as they needed too for the reception. They were lit just before everyone came in for dinner and were stunning on the table scape.

I like that so many are included in the box. But I don't care for every candle in the box being individually wrapped in plastic. It's a hassle and it's not good for the earth.

Candles are individually wrapped. Some of them were broken and the bases are a little small for most holders. So far no drips, but will update review if there are issues. Not really what I was looking for so probably won't get again, but won't return either.
