I ordered this duvet in green buffalo plaid and it arrived promptly. Right away I discovered that the wrong color had been sent- it was the blue/beige plaid instead. While this was very disappointing since it meant the hassle of returning said item, the duvet itself appears very nice and exactly what I was looking for, material and quality-wise. If you are looking to order the blue and beige plaid duvet set, take note that the colors aren’t very rich- the blue is more of a faded denim shade, which is fine if you’re looking for an earthy, “natural color.” I’ve already started the return process and should be receiving a replacement in the Buffalo GREEN plaid as soon as the incorrect duvet set is returned. As far as the duvet itself, it is the perfect texture if you’re looking for a slightly wrinkled type affect. I personally love it like that. If you are looking for “sateen smooth”, this isn’t it, although I’m sure you could probably press it, if you didn’t mind the hassle. The quality and workmanship appeared good, from what I could see- I didn’t remove it from the package since I knew it was the wrong color right away. The packaging is nice, and very giftable. The only reason for my four stars is the fact I didn’t receive the right duvet, and I haven’t been able to see it up close and personal yet, but based off the one I have seen, I’m assuming I will very much like the “right” one. :) If everything turns out “right in the end”, take my review as being a 5 star rating. ... show more

Very nice looking on the bed. I haven't washed it yet so I can't say how much it wrinkles or shrinks. It was wrinkly out of the package but seemed to straightened out.

The media could not be loaded. i have several cats, and this duvet has survived them for months without looking worse for the wear. for me, that's all i could really want. however, this is an average cotton set. it's not that soft (not rough, but my sheets are much softer.) so if you want to use this directly against your skin i couldn't recommend it. it's also a rather thin fabric, see video, so if you have this over something that already has a pattern it will very likely show through. this is not an issue for me, my duvet is white, but the pillowcase you can see the pattern frok my pillow right through it. it also wrinkles really easy, again not a concern for me, but if you want your space to look perfectly neat you'll either have to iron this or find something of a finer quality. ... show more

This duvet is exactly what I expected! Looks great! The texture feels similar to a light linen. I washed and ironed prior to pulling over the duvet. A very true “denim” shade of blue. Goes very well with my grey and white decor.
