I have been searching the internet for almost 2 years to find the best, affordable, and luxurious looking white blackout curtains for my living room. I have a big window that gets direct sunlight during the day and makes it hard to see the TV. I didn’t want to cover my big windows with just anything. I originally bought the Pottery Barn Broadway 100% cotton curtains to do the job and they were awful! They looked like paint drop clothes hung over my windows. Way over priced for terrible quality. Then, I found these recommended by a blogger on Pinterest. They aren’t the white I originally wanted, but the Natural color blends very well to the whites, creams, and tans I have throughout the decor of my home. They steam out easily with a Conair hand steamer, which was another issue I had with the Pottery Barn curtains, the wrinkles would not come out no matter what I did. These curtains have a stiff (but not too stiff) feel and the edges look nice a crisp. They are also not extremely heavy. So, you don’t necessarily need a heavy duty rod. They do a great job blocking the sun. I am happy with them and they were a fraction of the cost of expensive curtains, such as Pottery Barn. I used tradition curtain hooks and rings to hang. Love our new block out curtains. Great quality and do the job of darkening the room while still looking fabulous! You need to steam them to get the many folding wrinkles out.

I ordered white. It has a few dark brown spots on it but I scrubbed some of them with a tad of liquid detergent and will make sure that the spots will be out of sight on an inside fold. The fabric feels like it should be a shower curtain. Not what I wanted but sick of sending things back to Amazon so I’ll be keeping them for now but I would not recommend this drape. I’ll probably will replace these drapes in a few months and will find the time to go shopping locally to get a drape with nicer fabric and hangs nicer than these. If you like the plastic look - these are the drapes for you. lol. ... show more

They cost a little more than some but I've got to say I wasn't disappointed in the least. They are 100% blackout and are very effective as a barrier against the outside temps. They aren't thin like some of the others. It's a bonus they look nice.

Love these! We had two new windows added to our bedroom but needed blackout curtains for sleeping. They keep out all the light out when closed! These have a very nice woven pattern, texture and weight. We used the steam setting in the dryer to remove the creases (or you can use a damp washcloth). There are some wrinkles, but we plan to steam them out once the correct hardware (special wrapping rod for blackout curtains ) is in place. Beware of hem! The first set of 84” panels were very uneven on the bottom. Neither panel matched and hem was up to an inch different in each end of the panel. We sent those back. The set received was perfectly straight on both panels. No issues with the 96” length. Quality control In a factory can vary, especially at this price point, so just happy the other sets were good and return policy was easy. ... show more
